In Migle Kosinskaite’s serene visual universe, Greetings From the North II arrives as a playful yet contemplative portrait of northern spirit. The artist transforms the moose into a gentle guardian of quiet landscapes, presenting it with soft textures, muted tones, and a presence that feels both whimsical and wise. It stands as an emblem of calm resilience, holding the hush of northern forests within its steady posture.

The composition unfolds through a tender dialogue between organic form and radiating color. The moose’s fur appears almost windswept in paint, rendered with subtle warmth and delicate shading. From beside its muzzle, crisp beams of blue, coral, cream, and charcoal break outward like echoes of sunrise or shards of aurora drifting across winter skies. Behind it, a pale circular glow - part moon, part frosted sun - frames the animal in a luminous stillness that borders on the dreamlike.

At its core, Greetings From the North II is a meditation on quiet presence and the emotional language of nature. The moose becomes a symbol of thoughtful stillness, while the vibrant lines suggest inner movement, memory, or imagination reaching outward. And while this artwork stands beautifully on its own, it also belongs to Migle Kosinskaite’s broader Greetings From the North series, offering collectors a glimpse into a larger narrative shaped by northern light and soulful simplicity.
