Peeter Krosmann
Educated at the prestigious Konrad Mägi Studio in Tartu, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Tartu’s Painting Department, Krosmann brings a masterful blend of classical technique and contemporary perspective to his work. Since 1999, he has shared his expertise in drawing, illustration, and comics design, teaching at both the Tartu Art School and Tartu Art College.
In 2015, Krosmann was honored with the Ado Vabbe Art Award, recognizing his contributions to the Estonian art scene. While most of his personal exhibitions have been held in Tartu, his work has also reached audiences across Lithuania, Latvia, France, and Norway.
Known for his dynamic portraiture and vivid urban landscapes, Krosmann’s paintings skillfully merge traditional craftsmanship with a modern interpretation of everyday life. In addition to his canvas work, he has created several large-scale permanent artworks using the sgraffito technique, further showcasing his versatility and depth as an artist.
