Garden III by Gintaras Tadauskas drifts into a world of quiet enchantment, where color becomes emotion and light becomes memory. The trees, softened into hues of violet, blue, and silver, seem to hover in a gentle dreamscape. The landscape no longer belongs to a specific hour - it feels suspended between dawn and twilight, between the real and the imagined. Everything here breathes with weightless calm, as though time itself has chosen to rest.

The artist’s hand moves with poetic precision. Each stippled detail shimmers like dust in sunlight, creating a rhythm that feels both natural and transcendent. The air glows faintly, and the rounded forms of the trees take on an almost celestial stillness. In this composition, Tadauskas captures not just the beauty of nature, but the essence of serenity - a balance so complete it feels like silence made visible.

In Garden III, the final chapter of the trilogy that began with Garden I and Garden II, Gintaras Tadauskas completes his meditation on peace and light. Together, these works form a poetic continuum - three moments of stillness that shift in tone but not in spirit. Each painting reflects a stage of contemplation, and when seen as one, they become a quiet hymn to harmony, time, and the eternal grace of nature’s breath.

Gintaras Tadauskas

Gintaras Tadauskas creates art that captivates not only with its unique technique but also with the profound values embedded in each painting. Drawing inspiration from the Bible, Tadauskas expresses his soul through themes of transformation and the beauty of life. From the strong roots of trees with sunlit birds perched at their tops to the magical journey of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, his work celebrates life’s fleeting yet eternal wonders. “Trees, butterflies, and birds guide us forward into something eternal—beyond the limits of our life journey,” he says.

Tadauskas’ work is crafted using one of the oldest artistic techniques: mineral tempera, a method that dates back to the creation of timeless icons. Minerals are extracted from stone and mixed with egg yolks to create colors that remain vibrant and unchanged for centuries. This technique, paired with the rich, vivid, and sometimes mysterious hues of his art, gives Tadauskas’ paintings a radiant glow that draws viewers in, inviting them to pause and reflect on the deeper beauty of life.
