In Golden Ninja - Andrius Miezis fuses playfulness with absurd tension. The figure, dressed in a bright yellow suit patterned with tiny flowers, crawls across the floor, its posture both comical and alert. With one hand it steadies itself, while the other holds a black gun emitting jagged bursts of sound or light - an image that feels more theatrical than violent.
The contrast between the cheerful costume and the menacing gesture creates a paradox that is distinctly Miezis-like - a balance between irony and sincerity. The ninja’s oversized body and mask-like face transform aggression into performance, a strange ballet of self-defense and self-expression. The dark background amplifies the surreal glow of yellow, trapping the figure between danger and delight.
