In Ice Cream Mandala - Andrius Miezis transforms the everyday joy of frozen treats into a playful meditation on symmetry, color, and desire. Arranged in a perfect circular composition, each ice cream cone and popsicle radiates from the center like a sacred symbol of indulgence. The repetition of forms and variety of textures - smooth, frosted, patterned, or bitten - creates a sense of harmony within excess.

Miezis balances humor and precision, turning kitsch into contemplation. The work flirts with spiritual imagery - the mandala’s balance and order - but substitutes the divine with the delicious, the cosmic with the consumable. Against a soft gray backdrop, the vibrant palette seems to hum with the pleasure of choice, nostalgia, and fleeting sweetness.

Ice Cream Mandala becomes a playful ode to fleeting pleasure - a meditation on how beauty and joy often exist in small, ordinary things. The circular symmetry suggests balance and wholeness, yet the melting, temporary nature of ice cream hints at impermanence. Miezis invites the viewer to pause and savor the moment - to see the sacred hidden within the sweet, the simple, and the fleeting.
