New Tie by Migle Kosinskaite unfolds as a sharp and ironic commentary on identity and adaptation. The portrait of an antelope adorned in a formal suit and striped tie stands at the threshold between the natural and the constructed - a creature suspended between wilderness and civilization. Through this surreal juxtaposition, Kosinskaite challenges our notions of refinement, asking where authenticity ends and performance begins.

The composition’s precision amplifies its humor and intellect. The clean geometry of the checkered pattern contrasts the organic texture of fur and horn, creating a dialogue between instinct and conformity. Muted tones of wood, charcoal, and plaid evoke a sense of restraint, while the meticulously painted tie becomes the artwork’s focal pulse - a symbol of transformation that borders on disguise.

In New Tie, Migle Kosinskaite transforms absurdity into elegance. Beneath its polished surface lies a quiet provocation about the masks we wear in pursuit of acceptance and order. The painting invites reflection on the evolving rituals of identity, where nature dons its uniform and irony becomes a mirror of modern sophistication.
