In Domestic Pets Dreams and Hopes - Andrius Miezis turns an ordinary row of potted plants into a surreal theater of inner life. Each vessel holds not a simple bloom but a dreamlike organism - hybrids of flora, emotion, and imagination. Their bulbous, twisting forms and pastel tones pulse with personality, as though each plant embodies a hidden longing or half-remembered story.

The stage-like composition blurs the boundary between domestic calm and cosmic wonder. Beneath the oversized pots, two tiny silhouetted figures sit quietly - witnesses or caretakers of this whimsical garden. Through them, Miezis suggests that our homes are filled not only with life but with unspoken aspirations and silent companionship.

In Domestic Pets Dreams and Hopes, Miezis celebrates the poetry of the ordinary. His surreal botany becomes a metaphor for the tender coexistence between people and their quiet dreams - a world where even still life seems to breathe, hope, and wait.
