Green Garden by Gintaras Tadauskas is a poetic blend of whimsy and reflection - a serene dreamscape where nature and human creation exist in quiet harmony. Within its muted green atmosphere, the garden unfolds like a memory of innocence, shaped by trees that rise like guardians over a Ferris wheel, lamps, and distant houses. Time feels suspended here - the air is thick with nostalgia, yet light with wonder.

Tadauskas’s distinctive pointillist texture imbues every surface with movement and stillness at once. The delicate dots shimmer like pollen in sunlight, softening the geometry of the man-made structures and merging them with nature’s rhythm. The trees, perfectly rounded, seem to hum with invisible energy, while beneath them people gather in gentle communion. There is no noise, only presence - a balance between the organic and the constructed, between what grows and what is built.

In Green Garden, Gintaras Tadauskas weaves a quiet allegory of coexistence and memory. The painting becomes a reverie where childhood amusement and mature contemplation intertwine. Through this dreamlike stillness, the artist reminds us that beauty often resides not in contrast, but in union - where the Ferris wheel turns slowly beneath the trees, and life itself feels like a tender cycle of return.

Meet the artist

Gintaras Tadauskas

Gintaras Tadauskas creates art that captivates not only with its unique technique but also with the profound values embedded in each painting. Drawing inspiration from the Bible, Tadauskas expresses his soul through themes of transformation and the beauty of life. From the strong roots of trees with sunlit birds perched at their tops to the magical journey of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, his work celebrates life’s fleeting yet eternal wonders. “Trees, butterflies, and birds guide us forward into something eternal—beyond the limits of our life journey,” he says.

Tadauskas’ work is crafted using one of the oldest artistic techniques: mineral tempera, a method that dates back to the creation of timeless icons. Minerals are extracted from stone and mixed with egg yolks to create colors that remain vibrant and unchanged for centuries. This technique, paired with the rich, vivid, and sometimes mysterious hues of his art, gives Tadauskas’ paintings a radiant glow that draws viewers in, inviting them to pause and reflect on the deeper beauty of life.
