In Andrius Miezis’s Hairy Thoughts, the surreal becomes intimate - a face suspended in gray space, expressionless yet oddly animated. The eyes peek through a shaggy black mass that doubles as both mask and mind, suggesting that the thoughts themselves have grown wild, untamed, and alive. From the mouth escapes a pale pink bubble whispering “miau...” - a word both soft and absurd, caught between confession and instinct.
The palette is icy and muted, where shades of silver and ash frame the dark fur and pale skin, creating a contrast that feels both quiet and electric. The flower below adds a delicate counterpoint, as if thought and nature briefly intersect in the same strange breath.
