Aukse Drazdiene

Aukse Drazdiene is a Lithuanian artist whose work unveils a dreamlike world of flora suspended between reality and imagination. Born in Klaipėda in 1974, she graduated from the Kaunas Justinas Vienožinskis Faculty of Arts with a specialization in artistic leather. Since 2020, she has developed her own distinctive mixed technique, combining the precision of graphics with the softness of watercolor. She became a member of the Lithuanian Folk Artists' Union in 2025.

Drazdiene's art is deeply inspired by nature - its forms, textures, and unexpected beauty. Yet her works do not aim to replicate what already exists. Instead, she transforms flowers and plants into mystical, surreal botanical worlds that appear both delicate and monumental. Each piece feels like a quiet meditation, balancing fragility and strength, detail and imagination.
