Pollination
In Pollination - Andrius Miezis blends science fiction and spiritual symbolism into a single serene vision of cosmic connection. A lone astronaut drifts gently toward a massive pink lotus, its petals open like a celestial heart against a tranquil turquoise sky. The meeting of the mechanical and the organic feels both intimate and vast - a quiet collision between technology and nature, exploration and enlightenment.
The astronaut, faceless behind the reflective helmet, becomes a vessel for human curiosity - the eternal seeker hovering before the mystery of creation. The lotus, ancient symbol of rebirth and purity, glows from within, radiating soft warmth as if welcoming this visitor from the void. The encounter feels sacred, even humorous, as though Miezis is suggesting that even in the most advanced frontiers, the essence of wonder remains rooted in life’s simplest forms.
Pollination evokes a sense of meditative discovery. Through its delicate balance of stillness and motion, Miezis transforms a surreal scene into a metaphor for mutual exchange - between man and nature, matter and spirit, the known and the unknown. It is a gentle reminder that every act of exploration, whether cosmic or personal, is in itself an act of flowering.
