In Family Portrait Interface, Andrius Miezis reimagines human connection through an abstract dialogue of form and color. Two figures stand face to face, composed of interlocking organic shapes that twist, overlap, and pulse with energy. Their surfaces gleam like polished matter caught between flesh and code - a fusion of the biological and the digital.
The painting replaces traditional portraiture with a symbolic interface, where communication happens not through expression but through structure and rhythm. Each form seems alive, resonating with emotion, memory, and motion. The palette - rich with saturated reds, greens, yellows, and blues - suggests a vibrant circuitry of feeling, while the dark background isolates the pair in an intimate exchange of mutual reflection.
