In Migle Kosinskaite’s Silly Games, the monumental presence of a rhinoceros becomes both majestic and strangely tender. The creature, rendered with exquisite textural detail, stands against a dark, flat background interrupted by bold patches of color - a red circle, a turquoise plane, and a pink form that seem to float in playful defiance of logic. The composition is stripped of context, transforming the heavy body of the animal into a quiet symbol suspended between power and absurdity.

Migle Kosinskaite

Migle Kosinskaite is a celebrated artist currently based in Kaunas, Lithuania. A graduate of the Painting Department at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, she has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association since 2001.

Migle's work has been showcased in personal exhibitions across Lithuania and internationally, including the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine, and Sweden.
