People Who 02 by Kamile Lukrecija Lukosiute is a raw confrontation with ego, value, and validation. The artist dissects the tension between creativity and capitalism, exposing the hypocrisy of judgment and the fragility of perception. The words scattered across the canvas - “People who can’t make money think I can’t make art” - are both confession and accusation, written not as complaint but as weapon. Kamile turns critique into fuel, transforming disdain into defiance.

The painting erupts in sculptural layers of pigment - visceral reds, bruised blues, and fractured blacks collide in a dance between chaos and control. Each smear feels deliberate yet impulsive, alive with the texture of challenge. The white background becomes a stage for confrontation, amplifying every gesture’s urgency. Letters are uneven, erratic, and human - as if they too are breaking under the pressure of expectation. The work reads less as a painting and more as a pulse - irregular, loud, unfiltered.

In People Who 02, Kamile Lukrecija Lukosiute distills the artist’s perpetual rebellion against being defined by others. The piece exists as both mirror and provocation, asking who decides the worth of creation - the market or the maker. Through its bold imperfection, Kamile reclaims authorship not only over art but over meaning itself. The result is a manifesto of self-possession, a declaration that art, like truth, does not seek approval - it insists on being.
